FEDERATION REPS ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO GIVE FINANCIAL ADVICE.

Before making any decisions, we suggest that you consider speaking to a financial advisor. Please contact us in the Fed office & we can put you in touch with a number of financial providers to guide you through your individual pension process. We have a number of pension clinics available so please call into the Fed office or email admin@surrey.polfed.org.

Alternatively you can find an independent financial advisor here:

You DO NOT have to make any decisions immediately. You can make the decision on whether or not to move to your alternative scheme at any point between now and when you retire.

The statement only gives your pension up age 60. Please be aware that everyone can retire at 55, some of you may be able to retire at your 30 year service point if you joined on the 1987 scheme.
