A tribute from the family of PC Hannah Byrne, a serving officer with Surrey, who sadly died whilst on holiday in Greece last week at the age of just 22.
This has been a shocking event for everyone who knew Hannah and we are supporting her family and her colleagues as best we can.
There has been much speculation in news reports on the cause of her death, but nothing has been confirmed yet and an investigation by the Greek authorities remains ongoing.
As with any unexpected death, please be mindful that speculation can be incredibly hurtful at this raw time of grief and loss.
