Members of the Police Family have until the 31st of July to apply to borrow the money at a rate of 4.9% APR.
No1 CopperPot Credit Union is a not-for-profit organisation that offers financial services exclusively to the Police Family. Currently there are more than 35,000 members and No1 CopperPot have payroll deduction with 28 Police forces.
The Limited-Edition Loan is available to all new and existing members.
Loan decisions are based on affordability and lending criteria, said No1 CopperPot. It does not focus on credit score and each application is personally assessed by an in-house Loans Officer.
A spokesperson for No1 CopperPot said: “Whether police officers or staff would like to fund a new car, home improvements, a wedding or perhaps a holiday - members of the Police Family have until the 31st of July to apply to borrow the money at a great rate of 4.9% APR.
“The financial wellbeing of Police Officers and Staff is incredibly important – and this deal with No1 CopperPot means an £8,000 loan could be repaid at £183.47 per month over four years.”
