This endorsement applies to all Surrey Police Federation Travel Policies purchased as of the 13/03/2020 or trips booked after this date.

Issue Dates: 1st April 2019 – 31st March 2021
This policy was not designed to cover known or publicly announced events. As such, except for section 2 Emergency Medical and Other Expenses, there is no cover for Coronavirus, COVID-19, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-COV-2), any mutation of Coronavirus, COVID-19 or SARs-COV-2 or any pandemic or fear or threat of any of these.
Please be aware that for any policies purchased as of 13/03/2020:
- There is no cover under this policy for cancellation, abandonment or curtailment claims if the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advises you not to travel, as a result of the FCO advise against all but essential travel to an area affected by Coronavirus, COVID-19, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-COV-2) or any mutation of Coronavirus, COVID-19 or SARs-COV-2.
- Please Note – The above statement overrides any information in the policy wording under Section 1 – Cancellation and Curtailment and Section 8 – Delayed Departure and abandonment.
- There is no cover under this policy for any claims as a result of Coronavirus, COVID-19, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-COV-2), any mutation of Coronavirus, COVID-19 or SARs-COV-2 or any pandemic or fear or threat of any the above. Except for Section 2 Emergency Medical and Other Expenses. This will only apply if you did not travel against the published advice of the FCO, any local government, local authority or WHO.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
