Altberg Bootmakers

Alt-Berg is a British company manufacturing boots in two factories. Its home factory is in Richmond, North Yorkshire and the second factory is in the Treviso region of Northern Italy.

The senior Alt-Berg bootmaker shares his time between both factories, which use the same lasts, materials and manufacturing processes.

Alt-Berg manufactures boots for use worldwide and has been making boots for UK police forces for more than 20 years. It is proud to carry forward a great tradition of boot-making.

Tried and tested in the toughest of conditions, Alt-Berg makes police boots for all kinds of police use, including: general duties, special ops, rural use, public order, motorcycling and female specific.

Alt-Berg offers exclusive discounts to Police Federation members on the whole range of high-quality police boots, which can be viewed on their dedicated ‘mini-site’.
