The launch of Police Friendly follows the findings of the Police Family Finance Index, a landmark survey conducted by Metfriendly, which gathered responses from more than 10,000 Police Officers and Staff across the UK.

The research revealed significant financial pressure across the policing community:
● 64 per cent of Officers reported experiencing financial concerns
● 17 per cent admitted to missing meals due to lack of money
● 55 per cent said financial stress was seriously affecting their wellbeing
● Among Officers with 1 - 5 years’ service, 24 per cent are considering leaving policing and 18 per cent are exploring taking on a second job

The findings from our research reinforce the urgent need for accessible, trusted financial support tailored to the realities of Police life - not just for those in the job, but their loved ones, too.
