Suffolk Police Federation

Chair urges members to fill out Pay and Morale survey

24 November 2023

Suffolk Police Federation chair Darren Harris says it’s vital as many members as possible complete the annual pay and morale survey.

Darren said the survey results highlighted the issues members are facing and supported the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) in its campaign for fairer pay.

The survey is live and runs until Monday 11 December.

“It’s important that as many members as possible complete the survey to really highlight the issues they’re facing,” he said. “Please make your voice heard.”

The findings will provide vital evidence to support PFEW in its national pay campaign, in fighting for fair remuneration for police officers, and in calling for an independent pay mechanism.

It will also provide accurate and timely information on the current state of police morale and wellbeing, helping to inform and drive policies to support officers.

The link to the survey and full details have been emailed to members. If you’ve not received it, please check your junk folder.

And if you have any questions or experience any issues, please email researchanddatacollection@polfed.org.
