Remembering PC Alex Prentice

Northamptonshire Police Federation chair Sam Dobbs has paid tribute to an officer from the Force on the third anniversary of his death.

PC Alex Prentice became unwell at his base station of Pytchley on 26 April 2022 and later died at Kettering General Hospital.

“Alex’s sudden death sent shockwaves around the Force,” said Sam, “Today we remember him and the 20 years’ service he gave to the Force and to the communities of Northamptonshire.

“Our thoughts are also with his Father, Fred and his partner, Kieran, as well as his wider family, friends and colleagues he left behind. No doubt, today will be a difficult day as they mark this sad anniversary.”
