Thirty-five years have now passed since the death of Gwent PC Terence Davies.
Terence was 34 when he was hit by a stolen car as he cycled home from a shift at Maindee on 23 August 1990. The driver failed to stop.
“Our thoughts today are with the family, friends and colleagues left behind after Terence’s tragic death,” says Matthew Candy, chair of Gwent Police Federation.
“While we will keep them in our thoughts, we also remember Terence himself, the service he gave to the Force and his dedication and commitment to serving and protecting the communities of Gwent.”
