Christmas Message from Gwent Police Federation

As the year draws to a close, Gwent Police Federation would like to acknowledge the dedication and professionalism shown by officers and staff across the force throughout the past year.

Policing does not pause for the festive season. Many colleagues will once again be serving our communities over Christmas and into the New Year, often at the expense of time with loved ones.

That commitment, and the resilience it requires, is something the Federation recognises and values greatly.

Welfare

This period also offers an opportunity to reflect on the importance of welfare and support. The pressures of policing are ever-present, and the Federation remains steadfast in its role of representing, supporting and standing up for members when it matters most.

For those who are able to take some time away from work, we hope it provides a chance to rest and reset. For those on call or duty, please know that your efforts are so much appreciated.

Gwent Police Federation wishes you and your families a safe and peaceful Christmas, and we look ahead to the New Year with continued commitment to supporting you in the work you do every day.
