Merry Christmas from Gwent Police Federation

I’d like to wish all police officers, staff, volunteers and the public we serve and protect a happy Christmas and New Year.
It’s a busy time of year for our members who have the same festive expectations and celebrations as everyone else.
However, the nature of the job means that many will have to make their own personal sacrifices.
While some officers may be preparing for some hard-earned rest and relaxation, many will be working long shifts through the festive period, often at the expense of spending time with loved ones. I know the dedication and service of all our members is appreciated by the vast majority of the public, as it is by us at the Federation.
On behalf of the public and the Federation, I thank you all for your commitment and professionalism.
