Tax Refunds for Essex Police Officers

Over 1,400 Officers have already used the specialist tax review that was launched in August to find out if they could be owed a tax refund. 2 in 3 members taking advantage of the service have found they are owed money by HMRC. Over £77,000 has been repaid to Officers already and a further £30,000 is expected to be paid out in the next few months. It’s estimated 2,600 Officers are in Essex are still owed refunds but have yet to check.
