Essex Police Federation postpones Annual Police Bravery Awards due to coronavirus

Essex Police Federation has postponed our first ever Annual Police Bravery Awards, scheduled to take place on Thursday 2 April.

The safety and wellbeing of those we represent and work alongside is paramount and we have been following Government guidance and public health advice closely when it comes to public gatherings.

Essex Police officers carry out incredible acts to protect the public on a daily basis and we remain committed and excited to showcase a number of such incidents later in the year when the time is right.

In what is already proving to be an incredibly challenging year, we think it more important than ever to celebrate the work of colleagues in 2020.

And we now look forward to doing so in the Autumn.
