Essex Police Federation is the staff association representing police officers from the rank of Constable up to and including Chief Inspector. We seek to represent our members at force, regional and national level, intending to negotiate and influence on their behalf. As well as seeking to improve pay and conditions at local level, we also help our members with issues around misconduct, attendance, performance and equality.
We have a network of 36 work based representatives spread across the county, working as officers but volunteering their spare time to represent our members. If any member needs to speak to a work based Rep, then their contact details can be found on our ConnEXion SharePoint page.
We also have 4 full-time officers and 2 members of staff employed in running our Federation here in Essex. Their details can be found under Meet the Team on this website.
