Remembering PC Keith Maddison

Durham Police Federation has paid tribute to PC Keith Maddison on the anniversary of his death.

Keith collapsed and died on 21 May 1997 while chasing two suspects from a stolen vehicle. He was aged 46.

Durham Police Federation chair Louise Guest said: “Today we pause to remember Keith and pay tribute to his life and service.

“We also hold Keith’s family, friends, and former colleagues in our thoughts.

“We will remember Keith, and all our fallen colleagues. Their sacrifice must never be forgotten.”
