Durham Police Federation

Five-year savings account open to Fed members until end of August

13 August 2026

The credit union's Five-Year Regular Saver is open for applications until Monday 31 August, with the account's term set to begin on Thursday 1 October.

It will then mature on 30 September 2031, after being paid an annual premium dividend – subject to guarantees – for each of the five years, which is 0.5 per cent above a standard No.1 Copper Pot member account.

Life protection

Life protection is also included up until your 65th birthday.

To open the account, you must have an active No.1 Copper Pot membership, which police officers, staff, PCSOs, volunteers including Special Constables, and immediate family members are all eligible for.

A monthly contribution between £10 and £150 must be put into the account for its duration, and withdrawals cannot be made before the end date specified.

You can read full terms and conditions and apply for a Five-Year Regular Saver account by visiting No.1 Copper Pot in the Member Services section of the Federation website.
