Branch remembers Sergeant Stephen Armstrong

Today marks the 29th anniversary of the death of Durham Police Sergeant Stephen Armstrong.

Stephen was killed in a road collision returning home from work in the early hours of 23 August 1997. He was aged 35.

Durham Police Federation chair Louise Guest said: “The thoughts of everyone at Durham Police Federation are with Stephen’s family, friends, and colleagues.

“We will pause to remember and to reflect. It’s important that we never forget his service and sacrifice.”
