Retirement of Branch Chair and Chair Elect

Over recent months our Branch Chair Andy Berry, has made the decision that after more than 30 yrs service, of which the last 5 have been as Chair of D&C Federation, he will retire on the 30th June 2023.  

In order for a smooth transition prior to national elections due in 2024, the branch undertook an election [in line with Police Federation regulations] to fill the position on the 1st of July.  

Andy will be missed within branch, the force and indeed on the national Federation platform as the regional Chair. The shoes Andy leaves will be hard to fill, however we are pleased to announce that our current Conduct Lead Richie Poole, was successful in his nomination and will become the Branch Chair on the 1st July 2023.
