Police Federation - Nominations invited for Inspiration in Policing Award 2021

The Police Federation will be hosting the 2021 Police Bravery awards at the Hilton, Park Lane, London, on Thursday 9 December 2021.

In addition to the Bravery awards there will also be the 'Inspiration in Policing Award'.  This is what the National Chair, John Apter, says about this award:

"I was delighted to launch this special award in 2019 from the national Chair’s office and present it to Thames Valley’s Tom Dornan.

The ethos behind the Inspiration in Policing Award is that it recognises extraordinary officers whose achievements don’t necessarily fit with a specific act of bravery in the last 12-months, but an officer who has battled adversity and demonstrated immense moral courage in order to highlight an issue and/or make positive change for the benefit of policing and for our members.

All we ask is for a few short paragraphs on the attached nomination form and this category will be judged by the Chair’s office."
