Pension remedy update Dec 2020

The purpose of this message is to provide a summary from the National PFEW on the progress towards the correction of the unlawful discrimination caused by the transitional protections when the 2015 Care scheme came in. 

The attached will take you to the whole document however the key message is that we are expecting the government to issue its final public sector wide proposals for the remedy in Spring 2021. This will be followed by further consultation on the specifics applicable to the police scheme.
