National Police Pay Survey

02 June 2016

Police Federation of England and Wales members will receive an email in the next few days with a link to complete our annual survey which looks at police pay and morale.

The survey, which is one of the largest national surveys of its kind in the UK, provides important information used as evidence to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB) - the body which determines police pay.

The survey takes place every year. The Police Remuneration Review Body will shortly be making a decision this June based last year's survey results. The decision then has to be ratified by the Home Secretary and is likely to be announced formally in September.  We will keep you updated on the outcome as soon as we hear. This year’s survey which closes 1 July will be for next year’s pay award.

Emails will be sent out in stages and members should receive an email in the next few days, the survey can also be accessed here:

If you have received the email but are unable to access the link to the survey, this could be due to the security firewall at your force. A simple way of getting around this problem is to copy and paste the hyperlink below into your browser search bar.

Please note, the closing date for the survey is 1 July 2016.
