PFEW elects new vice-chairman

Calum Macleod has been elected as the new vice-chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales.

A vote was held at an extraordinary Interim National Board meeting at headquarters in Leatherhead on 13 April.

Calum Macleod, a Sergeant from South Wales, said: ā€œIā€™m delighted to be elected to the position of vice-chair.

"I realise it is a huge responsibility to carry out this role on behalf of the membership, and I intend to work with the Council, the Board, and the members to ensure rank and file officers are fully represented moving forward.ā€

Mr Macleod takes over his responsibilities immediately.
