On 5 November the Chair Mr Apter tweeted "Many within policing warned that the changes to Bail would cause significant issues, we were ignored. This review is much needed and long overdue."

1. Please provide a copy of any documents regarding any warnings/concerns raised by the Police Federation to the appropriate authorities that changes to bail would cause significant issues.

The Police Federation of England and Wales can confirm that we no longer hold this data. We have evidence that it was posted to our web page which was subject to a cyber attack back in March of 2019, however we are no longer able to access the information.
